Over the last 15 years Peter Kruithof has written songs that touch the heart of people. As songwriter he created a voice for the culture and pride of the people from the Westland in the western part of Holland and nowadays he writes songs for the bands 3 meter Peter, Kruithuis and Beet.

Biography
I send in my song the 5 th october. The track is called "lovesongs" and is my first song in English.

Songs in the Dutch language are my trademark. That doesn't mean these songs can't be used with English words. It's all about the feeling I suppose.
I started writing songs during the 90's. I wrote about 30 songs for the legendary dialect band Kromme jongens. In 2007 a community musical was produced with the songs of this band. During the last ten years i also wrote songs for the bands Beet and 3 meter Peter, which were used for 3 albums.
Nowadays I consider each song I write as a project in which i invite musicians to cooperate (www.kruithuis.eu) I use a lot of musical styles and the song vary from sentimental and serious to entertaining and fun.
