Hi, I'm Maaike Hermans

Ever since I can make noise I sing, shout and touch... I'm a singer-songwriter from Tilburg. When I was 16 years old I started to sing and write songs in my own band. I loved it! Still do.

So, during and after that first band I was on stage with Candy Dulfer, Wouter Planteijdt (Sjako!), Etsel "Toucher" Eusibius (Intwine), Remko and Basil Kühne (Alain Clark), Snowy White (Thin Lizzy and Pink Floyd). I was in the recordingstudio with Remko and Basil, Toucher, Jeroen van Vliet, Lex Bolderdijk(Anouk/Metropole Orchestra) and George Kooymans (Golden Earring).

Right now, I concentrate on writing songs and singing. It's a big cliché but you can't put my songs under one genre. Sometimes you hear rock, then jazz, reggae or metal and the next song can be a mix of jazz and classical music. I love it all, so I use it all!
