At a young age I learned myself to play piano by ear. I started playing keys in all kind of (gospel)bands. While studying at the Academie for Popculture in Leeuwarden I got the change to experience an exchange program in Rome, at the Saint Louis College of Music. During my study I travelled to Brazil to form a band with 4 musicians from Holland and 4 musicians straight out of the poorest area of the city. We practised together and did gigs across the place. With the earned money we build a recording studio at their area.
Through the years songwriting became more and more important for me. Now I'm writing for all kinds of artists, in all kinds of genre. I love to write custommade songs for a specific artist. I mostly write in Dutch, but I'm also working at some English projects.
With a good friend and colleague Robert Dorn I wrote the song "Our Night" for the Toppers at the Dutch Song Contest 2009, which was chosen as 1 of the 6 songs out of 370 entries.
At the moment I'm writing for Marissa & Danita's first album (Marissa won the Dutch Junior Song Contest 2008, Danita is her sister) and many other artists.
